The Himalayan Sage has profuse blue flowerss which bloom in winter.
The Bishop's Cloak is starting to put out its rose red flower bracts.
This is one of the roses which bloom in all seasons. It is a favourite of temple goers.
The white chrysanthemum is another favouriteoffering at the temple.
This Pentas has a delicate colour which attracts butterflies.
These are some of the flowers blooming now in my garden. Thanks to Carol for hosting the Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day on the 15th of every month.
Breathtaking, exquisite flowers as always! Of course, the rose is a favorite, but the delicate color of the Pentas is exquisite! I can understand why the butterflies love it! So do I! Have a lovely evening and a wonderful tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know these flowers are popular temple offerings -- it seems fitting. Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blooms to share on GBBD ... you have some lovely flowers in your garden right now. I have a pale pink Pentas just like yours ... and it's such a pretty sight. The Himalayan Sage, however, is my favourite ... great colour!
ReplyDeleteThe Himalayan Sage has a very intense blue that I like very much. The pentas are really sweet in pale shades of pink and the rose is gorgeous. I won't leave behind the Bishop's cloak and mums too. They are all lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love blue in the garden and your sage is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI too love the intense blue of the Himalayan Sage, can you tell me its Latin name, as it doesn't really look like a sage and I would like to check if it would grow here in Italy for me.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers! I like the Himalayan sage!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite has to be that sage plant - the blue is so vibrant and must look so good in your winter garden.
ReplyDeleteI always love blue colors which are not often in hot climes, that Himalayan sage is very beautiful. That color of Pentas we now have, which i found only lately maybe as a result of cross polination among themselves, as we don't have it before. But the umbel doesn't become as big as the parents.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I love the colour of that rose.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi again, Thank you for returning my visit and for giving me the name of the plant. Sadly it is frost tender so would not survive the winter temperatures here. Never mind, I think it is wonderful that we all have different plants to enjoy. Christina
