Today's Flowers - Azalea, Alstroemeria etc.


 Azalea indica is a cousin of the Rhododendron. It flowers in profusion in the Nilgiris.
 A mixed border of Cosmos adds colour to the garden.
 Abutilon with its beautiful flowers
The Peruvian lily Alstroemeria comes in many hues.

  4. I love this cosmos. But this variety of cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus) only grow well on the highland tropics. I just can't plant yellow-orange cosmos (Cosmos sulphureus) and edible cosmos (Cosmos caudatus). Thank for sharing

  6. Usually your posts show exotic flowers I can only dream of growing, but this post shows flowers I can grow in the uk ! Cosmos are one of the stalwarts of my summer garden, but die off with the first frost.
