I came across many wild flowers during my walks in the wooded parts of Hong Kong last month. Unfortunately, I do not know their names. The pink flower above grows in a shrub or small tree.
This ginger is seen in all parts of the Peak.
This bottle brush like flower was blooming on a tree.
This curious flower with elongated petals looked like a spider. It grows on a shrub.
The white daisies dotted the ground in many places. I hope you enjoyed looking at these unusual wild flowers.
My thanks to Santilli, Denise, Pupo and Sandy Carlson for hosting Today's Flowers.
Exquisite captures of such gorgeous flowers! Really breathtaking! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

Hong King's flora really interests me since it's not quite as tropical as other "tropical" places. A lot of cold hardy plants come from that area! I'd love to know what king of ginger that is... looks like some kind of alpinia!
ReplyDeleteInteresting wild flowers of Hong Kong!
ReplyDeleteDzikie, niezwykle i prześliczne kwiaty polne. Dziękuję za możliwość popatrzenia na nie.Pozdrawiam
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, wild and waiting silently to be noticed!
ReplyDeleteExcept for the daisy-like flowers, the others are all unique. Particularly the spidery bloom. Your walks in Hon Kong's wooded areas must have been extremely interesting!

ReplyDeleteLike you, I don't always know the name of the flowers that I photograph -- that does not detract from their beauty, which you have captured so well.
