Our World- Fearless Egrets

Farmers are friends of egrets. When this farmer was cutting the grass in a swamp, a group of egrets surrounded him to feast on the insects which were being disturbed by him.
The farmer cut huge heaps of grass to take away for his cattle. The egrets were still feasting.
My thanks to Sylvia and her team for hosting Our World Tuesday.
I am also contributing this to World Bird Wednesday.

  7. Very cool to see the farmer and the egrets so close. They are very shy birds around here. Thanks for sharing, great post.

  8. Great shots! I'm sure the egret helps the farmer by eating many harmful insects.
