Floral Friday- Ruellia
These short plants are quite floriferous throughout the year. Their tiny seeds disperse everywhere, and they are in danger of becoming weeds!

I've had the purple ones pop up in my garden, but luckily the dry conditions for most of the year here prevent them from becoming a pest. I'm actually looking to transplant some of the ones that have appeared this year to spots down the driveway garden in the hope that they do take over a couple of spots.
Thank you. You have solved a mystery for me. I have seen lots of these since I have been working in Jakarta, but I had no idea what they were called. Now I'll be able to tag my photos!
