The drought we are reeling under does not seem to affect the bougainvillea.They are blooming brightly everywhere.

i love the mauve bougainvillea. we call the queen's tears "pepsi-pepsi"--it has a sweet nectar that we sipped when we were kids.:p
ReplyDeleteBoth the Russelias and the Bougainvilleas are fantastic drought and heat tolerant plants. Isn't it great that they also look fantastic! I just love the colour of that light mauve Bougainvillea.

All of them are wonderful. I wish I could have a bougainvillea here in Sweden....I have tried several times.
ReplyDeleteI love your blooming russelia. I transplanted some off-shoots from my old garden to my new home one year ago and it has not bloomed at all. I am getting rataher exasperated with it.
