Roadside trees are resplendent with flowers now.  So are the tiny wildflowers.

End of Winter Flowers

 Yesterday was Shivaratri- a day of fasting and worship for the Hindus. This day is supposed to be the end of winter in south India. The hibiscus will flower more profusely now.

The Justicia will stop flowering and recoup its energy during the long summer months.
