This pretty plant with violet flowers has started blooming again.
The Bishop's Mantle is putting out new flowers every day. Soon the bush will be covered with flowers.
The Colanchoe is late this year. The tiny red blooms have started appearing now.
The red Ixora has at last started blooming. I hope it flowers profusely like the orange one.
Although I don't much care for acalyphas, this Chenille Plant
Acalypha hispida in my school garden fascinates me. It has flowered throughout the year without a break!
Many thanks to Katarina at Roses and Stuff for hosting the Blooming Friday posts. You can see what is blooming all over the world if you visit her.
The first one is really pretty, I love the color. I always enjoy seeing what you've got blooming there!
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms... I'm still waiting for my kalanchoe to start flowering. The plant in that first photo is Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender' - I have it as well and it's a fabulous plant as it blooms for such a long time.
ReplyDeleteI really love the first plant -- the flowers are such a beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteVery nice display of flowers as always.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
cheers,
Ian
So vibrant! I love your kalanchoe. And the first blooms are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour Bishop's mantle is beautiful, we call it Brazilian red cloak here. I have two in growing in pots to be planted out later. They seem to like a semi shady area. What type of shade do you have yours in? That violet coloured plant is interesting too.
ReplyDeleteCatherine, I like that colour too.
ReplyDeleteBernie, welcome and thanks for the information.Yes, it is a fabulous plant - easy to grow and blooms all the year round.
Sweetbay, thanks.
ian, thanks for your encouraging comment.
Kanak, the Kalanchoe season has begun here.
Islandgal, the plant is in a semi shaded area where it gets shade from the roadside tree in the afternoon.
Your garden seems too be filled with colour and interesting forms and textures - lovley!
