This aqueduct in Alwar , in the desert state of Rajasthan, was built about two hundred years ago. It transported water from a lake to the city of Alwar. Now with borewells dug everywhere with moders machines, this aqueduct stands lonely and deserted across the valley.
Great post as always and a sad, but lovely capture. Have a beautiful evening!

have a great week
It's some kind of a sad reality. But thinking that it helps a lot of people before modern times makes our heart felt at peace. Good thing is that it still standing and people could see how life in those days is hard. And that we who live in this generation has a lot of things to be thankful for. Happy weekend!

I think we shall be glad those things are still here. As a reminder of days gone by. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit sad, but at the same time it's great that it's being kept as it's quite beautiful. It's also a reminder of passed times.
