The hospital I was in had a beautiful garden, which had flowers which are not usually seen in the tropics.
Banks of red poppies gladden the heart.
Pansies are some other flowers which I have tried to grow unsuccessfully.
Petunias were a familiar sight, but there were other flowers whose names I did not know.
Now that I am back home in the tropics and the heat, I look at my shrivelled garden and long to put it right. Well, I should take it easy.
This is my contribution to Our World Tuesday.
Welcome back! Beautiful pictures.ReplyDelete
Welcome back... and take care not to overdo it in the garden. Gardens always forgive our neglect and welcome the gardener back.ReplyDelete
That hospital had a lovely garden.
So good to have you back, Padma! I think it made you feel a little better seeing these pretty sights from your hospital window. I'm looking forward to your posts and pictures, particularly the birds!ReplyDelete
