The Blue Tiger butterfly
Tirumala limniace migrates during the monsoon season. The migratory instinct is more pronounced in the males. In spite of the severe drought we are facing, these butterflies seem to be migrating now . Perhaps they will find succour in the Western Ghats:)

ReplyDeleteBaby blue and black... both colours just go so well together. The butterfly is really attractive. Love to have it in my garden. I always watch butterflies from afar. They all look more yellow and black. I can't recall a blue one like this one.
