Growing water lilies is a disappointment because we are afraid of mosquitoes growing in water, but all those you posted before this, we have a lot. ...And i love your header plant.
ReplyDeletei hardly see blooming lotus around here anymore. like Andrea said, people seem to get rid of their garden ponds because of dengue. what tree is that in your header? it's gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! We live in Florida in the Winter and some of these flowers bloom there. I know the Ixora -- but had never heard the legend of how it was named. Thank you for telling us that. And thank you for sharing the pictures. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! How deep is your frog pond? Mine is not very deep (and is quite small..to match my yard) and my lilies flowered the first year but not again. Wondering if it has to do with depth.
