Shankha pushpa- Clitoria ternata

These wildflowers are now on all the hedges and fences. The white variety of Shankha pushpa is rarer than the dark blue one. Both have medicinal value. The roots and flowers are used to make a tonic to improve memory.

  1. I have the vivid blue and it is one of my favorite flowers in my gardens.

What is that flowering tree in your header?

  2. I love these, but somehow I just will not grow for me, even in the hottest summer months.

  3. I have the dark purple type! Can be made tonic for memory? DO you know how?

  4. Ya, white one is definitely rare. I have the blue one initially d they are every where around my house -:)
