The Bird of Paradise flower,
Strelitzia reginae was named in honour of a queen of England.
Amarylis blooms are blooming in all sorts of places.

ReplyDeleteyou should send me seeds from some of the gorgeous flowers you flaunt...I just love the photos of the bird of paradise....I used to have one about 20 years ago...but it didn't survive the jerk that was putting his chewing tobacco spit in it...ugh...men....ugh...
