Skywatch Friday
Now that the hot and dry season has started, we see bougainvilleas blooming everywhere. These maroon double bougainvilleas made a fine contrast against the bright blue morning sky. You can see loads of sky pictures at http://skyley.blogspot.com
Usually associated with hedge-plants these flowers look more colourful in photograph. Our is it because we pay less attention to them, seeing them on the hedges ?
bougainvillea is such a colourful flowering plant. They grow well here too.... and that colour in the picture is quite a common one here too. cheers.... ~bangchik

looks very good.i;ve always loved bougainvilleas. was at auroville this weekend and loved the bougainvilleas that were all over.
