Macro Monday

I found a V of electric blue on the leaf of a Snake jasmine plant. I am not sure about the name of this butterfly. It is not common in these parts.
My thanks to Lisa for hosting Macro Monday.

  6. It's obvious that it's a swallowtail. Could it be the "Black Swallowtail"?

  13. wow that is beautiful - it reminds me a little of our blue triangle. It is amazing how the turquoise changes to green further out on the wings.
