Flowers from the Nilgiris

Last week, we had been to the Nilgiris for a holiday. The chilly air of the mountains are conducive to the growth of  beautiful temperate tegion flowers in the tropics. Fuschia is one such flower, which refuses to bloom in my garden.
Tree Dahliahs were blooming on hedges.
 Another Fuchsia.
Daylilies and Pansies were blooming in profusion in the parks.
You can see what else is blooming in different parts of the world at Today's Flowers.

  3. Beautiful flowers. I can find flowers like yours on highland. But I live on middle land, so difficult to plant them.

  4. Hello lotusleaf!! What a lovely place to be :-D Love to be there as well - to enjoy the cool weather and to admire those beautiful dahlias, pansies, day lilies and fuchsias (especially pansies!). Btw, thank you for your visit :-) You have a great week.
