Watery Wednesday

The pond in the village bordering my suburb is shrinking rapidly. The rampant growth of the city seems to have contributed to this.
Although the water is less, there are still quite a lot of water birds in this pond.

  1. The idea that the pond is shrinking is so sad. I know this does not make you happy. Thank heavens the birds are still there. The shadows in both shots are so pretty and the blend of the trees, shadows, sky, and water all name for lovely shots.

  3. Water images can be so soothing to the eye. It's sad that the shrinking pond will gradually affect so many other forms of life. The same is happening here. Will be mailing you soon.

  4. You've captured all its beauty!! I'm thinking this would be a fabulous, challenging jigsaw puzzle!! That way, when it is no longer there by the shrinking in size you'll have it permanently.

INCOMING!! -ocean wave action Plus a dolphin

Do stop by, if you have time, to visit - hope your day is terrific.

  5. A pity to have 'civilisation' encroach on nature. A pond can be great therapy for tired and stressed minds.
