Blooming Friday- Out of Season

The Zebra Plant has lots of flowers now.
The orange Ixora looks so warm and inviting.

This Amaryllis was a surprise. It has become confused about spring and autumn... Or is it the effect of Global Warming?

The coral vine has still got some shocking pink flowers.
In the place where I live, the seasons get merged with each other as it is never too hot or too cold. But some flowers like the chrysanthemum and the Amaryllis are quite rigid in their preferences. Please visit Katarina at Roses and Stuff to see more out of season flowers. Have a nice weekend!

  1. Very nice flowers! Its surprising to see Amaryllis in bloom at this time of the year! Here Coral vine grows as a weed and it becomes difficult to restrict its growth during monsoon, but the gorgeous pink flowers more than compensate for its unruly behaviour.

  2. Wish my Amaryllis would bloom out of season too:) The Coral Vine is blooming profusely in my neighbourhood. The trellis is covered with hundreds of pink flowers. I like the colours on the Zebra blooms.

  3. Hi Doc! The Coral vine is considered a dangerous weed in many parts of the world, I believe.
Hi Kanak! I too like the colours of the Zebra blooms.

  8. You know, that's what I'm wondering too: is it global warming that make som flowers bloom out of season? Or is it 'normal'? -Lovely blooms in your garden!

  9. Tootsie, thanks for your visit.
Katarina, I am sure it is global warming which is confusing the plants. We see many plants and trees behaving oddly in this part of the planet.
