Today's Flowers

The Blue Sage from the Himalayas adds a welcome blue tinge to my garden now.
The dwarf Canna indica is very popular in many gardens here.
The sky blue Plumbago blooms reflect the clear blue skies.
The red Powder Puff is blooming in many gardens here.
This Cassia is a short tree with double coloured blooms.
I feel so lucky that we have flowers to cheer us up all the year round!
My thanks to the team of Today's Flowers, where you can see what is blooming in other parts of the world.

  1. That's a fabulous Cassia. I've never seen one with white and yellow blooms. Love the Plumbago as well!

  3. The blue Sage is very different to what we know as Sage in the UK - it's lovely! Do you know the latin name?

I love Plumbago and have just done my own blog on this gem of a plant. I've never really thought of it being grown in India for some reason......

  4. I have the Blue Sage and it is a real favorite in my gardens. The plumbago is another favorite as well. Your cassia isn't one I've seen before and very interesting. I also agree that it is wonderful to have flowers to cheer us up all year long.

  5. I have enjoyed all these lovely photographs very much, a very nice variety of beautiful flowers. Thank you for sharing them, and also thank you for stopping by my blog. You asked if the last photo was a cactus. I'm sorry but I don't know what it is. I always try to look for an identifying marker when I take a photo but there wasn't one. I even tried to find it online without success. Hopefully I will be able to name it one day.
