Our World- Water

It is said that the future wars will be fought over water. This ancient well is still in use in the water-scarce Kolar city.
The mighty river begins as a small spring....
and roars down the water falls after a long journey.
Let us hope that people learn to use water, the precious gift of nature, without wasting it.
This is my contribution this week to Our World, maintained by Sylvia, Gattina, Lady Fi, Arija and Sandy.

  7. Water is a precious commodity for our own health and the health of plants and wildlife around us! But it's hard to value it highly right now in my world because our current summer is constantly riddled with showers, storms and even hail this morning! Lovely photos!

  10. Very pretty...both the roaring river cascading over the boulders and the tiny brook that feeds it.
