My World- the Museum

Among the many ancient artefacts housed in the Museum, I like the Saluting Cannon the best. It was used in the time of the British rule, on formal occasions. The brass makes a good contrast against the red walls of the museum.

The gardens of the museum have been destroyed in the 'Road-widening' fever that is gripping the city.
The small museum is a beautiful structure.
My World Tuesday is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia. You can have a virtual trip around the world at http://showyourworld.blogspot.com

  3. A great colonial building; beautiful colour suits the purple bougainvillea! The cannon is a "Masterpiece"! I am intrigued that you like it the best. It is always a shame when gardens have to go to make room for traffic.

  7. Both the architecture and the color of the museum certainly catch the eye! It looks as thought the trees and shrubs are blooming.

  8. I saw and visited a building that looks like a brother to this museum in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This reminded me of that building so much.
