Skywatch Friday

This 16th century cenotaph in Indore is a favourite perch for birds. The plants growing on the pagoda are evidence of the birds' presence. It would be a pity if this beautiful historic building goes into ruin.

  1. It look like very antique building! The sky over there is so blue. It's raining most of the time here....!
    Happy Deepavali to you!

  2. I love it! Happy, happy birds and what a great perch they have! Beautiful, peaceful skies as well! Terrific capture for the day -- as are the captures you share with us every day! Happy SWF! Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. That building is gorgeous. It's fun to see those little seedlings but it would be really unfortunate if they destroyed such a beautiful structure.

  4. Seems to be a home for birds and bushes! It's a lovely dome.

  5. Love when old buildings seem to geberate new life on their own...the same vines would probably fail in my garden, and yet here they thrive;)

  7. Wish those plants would be cleared. At least the birds will find trees in the surrounding area and the building's life will be lengthened. The structure is very beautiful.
