Welcome to my ecological garden in the tropics. Hope you find peace and tranquility here.
So lovely! Never seen white wisteria before, thanks for sharing.
Love the wisteria, very pretty. I usually see purple color here.
Hello,Yes it's a beautiful tree.
Gorgeous flowers and they do look like wisteria to me. I actually saw some white wisteria at a house here in Seattle -- wish I'd had my camera! Terrific captures! Hope you have a wonderful week!Sylvia
Lovely flowers! I would have said wisteria too but not an expert by any means. Great photos, thank you for sharing them.
Looks like wisteria to me! I love the branch form in the last photo.
They are completely gorgeous. Wow.
Ana, thanks for your visit and comment.Eileeninmd, white wisteria is quite common in the Himalayas.Ellada, the tree was breath taking!Sylvia, thanks for your comment.Denise, thank you.Rainforest gardener, I am not sure because wisteria is usually a climber and this was a small tree.Sandy, thanks.
Sure does look like Wisteria.Don't know if it really becomes a tree here or just finds a tree and wraps it's self around it.
I'm wondering if the flowers are scented. I have a white flowering wisteria in my garden. It has a wonderful scent and the bees love its flowers :-)As Patsi says, it does ususally wrap around but in my case its a Pergola post. One of the strongest characteristics is its fantastic twisted almost rope like main stems that contort into wonderful shapes.I've never seen a tree variety but the leaves and flowers look like wisteria to me too. Thanks for sharing this. Thanks also for popping by my blog. As you will have seen my wisteria flowers are still in bud. It's always an exciting moment when they open :-D
The flower look so beautiful! ohhh....How i wish to visit Himalaya one day!
HelloIt is really a beautifull sight, These are White Locust Tree a.k.a False AcaciaThese are very common here in Himachal, There are small thorns at the base of the leaves.
Patsi, I believe it is a White Locust tree, also known as False Acacia.Shirl, it must be exciting to see the wisteria blooms open:-)Malar, I hope you will visit the Himalayas soon.Zindagi, thanks for the information. It is a very beautiful tree.
Such a beautiful tree! Lovely flowers.
They do look a lot like Wisteria, but whatever they are they're very pretty.
They sure look like wisteria. Another blogger posted a similar looking flower a few weeks ago. Do these flowers give off any scent?
What a beautiful tree! I love those flowers, such a profusion of them.
How lovely to see white Wisteria! Beautiful photos! ;>)
It is very beautiful. Maybe it is not Wisteria, because it is viny as i've seen in Sweden and Turkey, as well as the photos of some bloggers from Europe here. You said it maybe locust tree, is it the one whose seeds are made into gum or galactomannans?
