Weekend Reflections

The common man's transport in India is the autorickshaw. The three wheeled vehicle weaves through heavy traffic at rush hour and takes you to your destination.
Thanks to James at http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com where you can see more reflections from all over the world.

  2. Hah! I THOUGHT ALL rickshaws were leg powered, but now I know that is a last-century way of thinking. Love the pine trees reflected in the windscreen.

  3. Your autorickshaws have gone green? Hope they are non-polluting, too!

  4. That is a cute little car. It reminds me a little of the Smart cars here.

  5. Bangchik, thanks for your comment.
Julie, these rickshaws are diesel powered.
Shailaja, only the paint is green.
Stephanie, city bus is better, believe me!
Catherine, Smartcars must be solar powered. There are plans of making these solar powered too.

  8. What would we do without the auto? In my old hometown we used to walk a lot. Now there are autos everywhere! People no longer walk...not even short distances:( Nice photo!
